FEB - MAR 2018

FEB 27th

Today I was sitting in the sunlight drawing outside of the Full Sail Live 3 building. The sun was providing a nice even lighting because there were hardly any cloud.

MAR 1st

Last night my girlfriend was cooking, and this morning when I went out into the kitchen I noticed that she had left the stove on and it was glowing bright orange/red. We are incredibly lucky that nothing caught fire.

FEB 28th

The light in my kitchen went out today so I went out and bought a "sunlight" colored led light bulb. It ended up just being a super bright light that I don't really think resembles sunlight, but it still lights up my kitchen very well with only 1 bulb.

MAR 2nd

Tonight I was walking my dogs and noticed how bright it was for it being so late. Once we walked around the building I could see that the moon was huge. It was a full moon, and it was so bright that was even casting faint shadows.

MAR 4th

This morning, like most, the sun was shining through my blinds blasting me in the face. This happens basically every morning because there are sliding doors in my room and it faces the direction that the sun rises. As you can see in one of my picture of my dog, it is extremely bright.

MAR 7th

This afternoon there was a very nice relaxing sunset. it reminded me of Childish Gambino's album cover for Kauai, because of the colors.

MAR 8th

Today we got out of SPS earlier than we usually do and it was a little off putting to be done with our daily routine and still have the sun up.

MAR 9th

I have these LED lighting in my room that you can change the color, brightness, and a few other things. I set the lighting on them for different things but mostly I have it on this sort of color, because I find it relaxing.

MAR 12 PART 1

Yet another typical florida day. It was sunny here and there, but today was a little more cloudy.

MAR 12th PART 2

The day seemed a little longer because we changed the clocks for Daylight Savings Time. It throws me off every year.

MAR 6th PART 1

It was another nice day out during our SPS break, it was kind of cloudy, so every few minutes it would get dark, then lighten back up.

MAR 6th PART 2

By the time we finished our lab it was completely dark out. I wrote part 1 during our break around 6, and even though t was only about 30 minutes it was pretty dark, and it was a kind of weird.

MAR 13th

Today was a great day for drawing while on break in the Live 1 courtyard. The sun was coming down steady and was nice and warm.

MAR 14th

Last night I left the TV on, but since I was in bed and kept falling back asleep I never turned it off. Although the volume want high, the light from the TV kept waking me up and annoying me, but in the end laziness won.

MAR 16th

Today I was getting a reading vibe. It was a little more cloudy than normal, but still warm our, and not too humid. It was very relaxing. It was nice and shady, but not too dark in the courtyard, and the lighting was perfect for relaxing and reading under the trees.

MAR 17th

It was another nice relaxing day. I opened my blinds all the way to let in as much natural light as I could. I always prefer to use the natural light because I find it more relaxing than electrical lighting.

MAR 18th

Today, my girlfriend and I went to Disney for the day because it was a nice bright day, and it was super warm. There wasn't a single cloud in the sky and the sun was pounding down. Regrettably, I forgot my sunscreen and now I have a pretty bad sun burn on my neck and shoulders.

MAR 19th

It was yet another hot, super bright, sunny day. I tried to stay in the shade as much as possible, luckily the trees in the courtyard behind Live 1 had lots of it.

MAR 20th PART 1

The beginning of the day seemed like it was going to be another regular sunny day, but then around 4 or 5 I think, everyone started to get severe tornado warning alerts, and I just thought it was nothing. But when I went to go walk my dogs once I got home and all of a sudden the sky was turning to a super dark gray color.

MAR 22nd PART 1

Because of daylight savings time the sun wasn't up yet when my alarms went off, so I ended up falling back asleep. Usually once my alarms go off the sun will keep me up from shining in my face. Since I was tired I wasn't thinking, and I figured since the sun wasn't up I had more time to sleep. After I realized what time it was I had to rush to get ready for class.

MAR 22nd PART 2

The temperature today was weird because it was warm in the sun and freezing in the shade. Even though there were not too many clouds in the sky, the sun wasn't really warming anything up.

MAR 22nd PART 3

The sun was reflecting off of everything making t hard to see, especially when driving. Although t can be annoying, the reflections that sunlight creates can be really interesting and unique.

MAR 20th PART 2

Around 6, it started pouring down rain, and the sky was black. It basically looked like it was almost night time. There was tons on lighting all around also. I love this kind of weather. I love the lighting it provides, and the sound of the rain. It is super relaxing. I enjoy watching lightning, because it is kind of like fireworks. I love the way it lights up the sky, and all of the different patterns that the bolts make.

MAR 21st PART 1

Another nice day for reading.It was a little windy, but in the sun it was warm. The sun wasn't too bright, and it was cloudy. It provided a nice dim lighting, but when the clouds moved in was pretty bright.

MAR 20 PART 3

About an hour an a half later, the sky was clear and sunny yet again. If it weren't for the soaking wet ground, you wouldn't have guessed that it started at all. After that dark storm there was a nice colorful sunset, probably because of all of the moisture in the air.

MAR 21st PART 2

Because it was so windy out the puddles were creating all kinds of cool ripples, reflections, and shadows. I forgot to snag a picture of the puddles, but it reminded me of the way a pool looks when the sun is shining on it. The wind was also blowing the water on the pond outside my apartment, ad creating some cool ripples too. One of my favorite things about light is the way it reacts with water.

MAR 22nd PART 4

This was probably the coolest sunset that I saw this month. It had tons of colors. It blended from a light blue to a soft green, then a creamy yellow. The sun was kind of like a blood orange color. And the clouds were the best part. They were pink and orange. Some were primarily a bright pink with a hint of orange, some were bright orange, and some were a blend, and ended up kind of peachy. I didn't get to take a picture, because I wan't really thinking about it, because I was taking my girlfriend to the airport.

MAR 22nd PART 5

Whenever I am working on my homework I like to have a bright sunlight in my room, or I turn on my lamp and adjust my LED's to kind of mimic sunlight. Different types of lighting keep me are productive than others. I like to have a brighter light that I normally prefer because it helps keep me more alert I think. Whenever I am getting ready to wind down for the night I will adjust my lights again, sometime a few different times, to kind of help meet transition to going to sleep.

During the month I was writing all of my journal entries, and notes here in my notebook.
